man, I miss the days when Toonami had good shows like gundam wing and outlaw star. now they have stuff with tennis matches and irritating 12-year-old ninjas in bright orange jumpsuits that should have been killed the moment they stepped outside.

Don't blame toonami's demise on Naruto. It was bad well before that point.

Adult Swim basically destroyed Cartoonnetwork, because before AS Cartoonnetwork needed something to keep the older viewers interested. But now that AS takes care of the 18-25 market, CN focuses purely on pleasing the kiddies.

I remeber bootleging the baned ep of outlawstar on my computer. I remember thinking that if they airbrushed some sceens then there woudn't be a problem.

Yeah I didn't understand that at all, they edited the hell out of all of the other shows, and they did a hell of a lot of airbrushing on Tenchi Muyo due to Ryoko's blatant disregard for clothing. XD

Damn I also remember back when adult swim and toonami were in sinc. Toonami handeled with the violence and adult swim had the comdy. Now adult swim is filling every day with futurerama seeing that there handel on it will disapear in 2008 and it's a blue moon trying to find a decent anime on the line up. (I'm not saying bleach, trinty blood, Blood +, and elveka 7 are bad anime, espicly elveka 7, but they could be doing much better maybe a return of gundam.)

Yeah, [AS]'s problem is that the guys actually don't like anime. There must have been a few people at Williams Street that liked anime enough to air Cowboy Bebop, but my guess is that those people have been reduced to pretty much nothing. The only reason they don't take off all the anime is cause they will loose a considerable chunk of viewers.

I think it would be better for Cartoon Network  in the long run to return Toonami to the way it was back in 2000, and let [AS] take care of the original comedy stuff, which is what they are better at anyway.

ok, I'm good at sneaking around, so tonight; I'll drive a car through the front door and we'll run in, using desks and other miscellaneous items to block anyone from coming in. Then we'll run cartoon network! Mwhahaha!

Well it's actuly I think that adult swim wanted anime, but ever scense the all anime chanel (I forgot the name) and g4 started taking the good anime AS has been losing viewers in that sector.
