WTF is with it?!  Why in the world is flavored cream/chocolate coated biscuit sticks so popular?

Now--I'm not a pocky hater.  I like it.  But it's like...not that great.  I only wonder this because I was hanging out with a few friends who were anime nuts and they were all "Hey, let's go out and get some pocky!" And I was all "e.e The store that sells them is too far away...no way in hell am I wasting the gas to get some two dollar boxes of chocolate covered sticks." and they were all ">O HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT! -kill-".

O.o;...It's not that amazing to like...get giddy about it like some people get.

Me neither... they don't even sell it at the anime store over here O_o; In fact you don't see it anywhere here for that matter o_o; I only know about it because I've heard how awesome it is from my online friends. I've been tempted to order a box online just to see what's up with it... but meh. I'm not paying a crapload of shipping for just chocolate.

Course, the awesome thing about Pocky is the GIANT ASSED boxes of Pocky you can buy.

I'm temted to buy one just to have the box in my room or put one of my cats in it.  :0 That would be adorable.

I wasn't a fan of pocky untill I had the special edition strawberry pocky that has real frut in it now I'm a adict. If I add li hing powder (the perfect hawaiian adition) on it and I am in heaven.

I'm with Xiodin when it comes to being a fan of the strawberry kind. I think they're ok, but I can't see why they're so popular as well, although I'm pretty sure Dauragon88 came pretty close to hitting the nail on the head.

I'm ADDICTED to pocky. Sure, there is better tasting candy out there. But there's something about pocky that just makes me love it more. Maybe it's because of the pocky dance, or the fact that I can do funny things with it, or how cute I look with it, or the cute advertisements that Morning Musume does for it. I don't know why. But...I just can't get enough of it.
