Tales of Phantasia (The anime)
FF7 Advent Children
City of God
Platoon
Dead Alive
Night at the Golden Eagle (scariest movie I've seen)

Ok,

So some of these movies haven't been listed, I hope some of you will want to go a little bit further into their cinematic explorations.
Enjoy

Mind Game : psychedelic, frantic anime from Studio 4°C

Cat Soup : animation short where David Lynch meets Hello Kitty

Deadman : Jim Jarmusch's gritty vision of the conquest of the West

Tekkon Kinkreet : faithful adaptation of Tayio Matsumoto's manga

El Topo : Jodorowski's(The Incal, Heavy Metal magazine) mystic western, super extra awesome

Taxidermia : the sick story of three generations of a Hungarian family. Featuring a soundtrack by Amon tobin

Eldorado (Belgian movie) : typically Belgian roadmovie. Funny as hell but in French

Le chainon manquant : early 80's adult cartoon about a tribe of cavemen

La honte de la jungle : if you wanna see Jane(Tarzan's lady) kidnapped by an army of giant penises, this is the cartoon you need

Versus : where martial arts meets guns meets zombies meets the end of the world, Evil Dead 2 style

Braindead : I'm sure you all know this one

Akira : this one too

Videodrome : when a vagina grows on your belly because of a mysterious snuff tv show

Madame Tuti putli : impressive stopmotion short (pay attention to the eyes of the puppets, it took three years to make it)

Ryan : psychedelic 3D animation documentary about a fallen animation talent of the 70's. Brilliant

Pages : Prec. 1 2 3 4
