Yume Nikki... where do I begin? The game itself is called Yume Nikki, or simply, Dream Diary. But don't let the title fool you. It's like Alice In Wonderland, I suppose... hopping from one strange world to the next. Basically, you play as a girl named [Nikki?]. Its really hard to tell, considering the little amount of text in the entire game. In fact, so far in, I only see text on the menus, though I haven't played it quite so long. The game itself, is originally Japanese but there is an English version. Anyway, Nikki, assuming that is her name, goes to sleep and hops from dream world to dream world. That's where it just gets weird. There's no real battle system, it's more like... find the object to solve the next puzzle to get to the next object. But it's more interesting than that... all the worlds are weird, oddly colored, strange backgrounds, even stranger music. It's like an acid trip or something. Anyway I made this quick video to show you abit, this is in one of the first worlds, the [circuit world?]. I didn't know you weren't suppose to touch the girls! ~___~

So anyway... what you're doing is collecting all the items, one item leads to the next, and then when you get all the items, what happens? You shall see :P

And don't worry, it's a freeware game, none of this crackware stuff X3 Anyways, I guarantee you it to be the strangest and freakiest computer game you've ever played in your life.

Now, I noticed a couple of glitches, they didn't seem to affect friends who played the game, but you never know so I'll just tell you anyway:

- Half the screen is black? Press Alt+Enter to change it to windowed mode.

- Crazy repeating 'Not Implemented' error? Simply navigate to the Music folder in your Yume Nikki folder, and convert [not just rename, CONVERT] every MP3 file to WAV files, then delete the original MP3 files from the folder. If you don't know how to do this, just ask and I'll upload the WAV replacements!
