I'm excited about WATS because it's gonna be a mega hella like totally awesome movie complete with HOLY LIGHTNING!!! Yeah...that's right. And the music is great.

In order to cut down in the amount of "Announcements" we have I'm moving this thread to "The M dot Cafe".

That and it makes more sense to be there.  Since this is more user focused then WATS focused.

If anyone has any complaints, please bring it up and I'll move this back to WATS General.

Oh, well, welcome. This is a nice place, not too many tourists, but almost all Finns speak English. (At least the post WWII generations.)

May I suggest the lakey part (eastern Mid-Finland) during summer or Lapland either during summer (if you like, like 24h daylight), early spring (when it's still cold and snowy) or winter (If you're a creature of the night/24h darkness ).
I'm from southern Finland though. Born & raised in Helsinki and then at the age of 18 moved to Turku (in 2004) and here I am. (Or actually I just came back to Helsinki for the weekend to meet old friends).

So yeah, come to Finland to balance things since I'm considering of coming to California. Most likely gonna apply to USC and UCLA film programs after a year or something (not likely to get in though, but have to try). Yeah, I'm interested in filmmaking and that would be a good way to meet more people, maybe then drop out and do my own stuff after a few years or so, if I feel like it. Surely Ca isn't the only place to make films, but coming from a chilly place like Finland, so I really wouldn't mind a slice of that Californian sun.
