I was thinking about buying a DS and a few games for it. I never really go with Nintendo, but I love their Simulation games. (Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, and others) I just want to know how good it is, and is it worth buying?
Then tell me what games you own!  

DS is very worth it... if you have a flash cart. Flash carts run at about $120 at the cheapest, don't ask what it's for if you don't know because I don't want to get into the whole piracy/emulation deal >__>; Lets just say it turns your DS into a portable media center.

Yeh get one with MArio Kart! I plan on having regular WATS forum mario kart races with like prizes and everything XD

Me, personally I don't give a donkeys rear end about having a portable media center. When I get a DS it will be for playing games. You know...cause its a gaming system.

Yeah if you're rich >___>;; Some people are poor college students. Besides, what do you get with buying one, just a colorful instruction booklet and box and an extra cartridge to keep up with.

I dunno..maybe something along the lines of supporting the game developers that pour their hearts and souls into the creation of  a videogame?....something along those lines.

I with Dauragon I do download a lot of stuff but I try to buy most of it if its still out

Under Lit? The DS Light is very bright, but the PsP is more pixel,  so I guess a little less amount of light. Better graphics, and I have no problem with the size, also the screen is the best for size. The screen bigger then some Portable DvD players. But I will get the DS, I don't need the Media center. I love a lot of DS games!

Oh and yeah, I'd rather buy games. I buy CDs (Better quality, and helping out a band you "Like")

I'm too poor to get a DS, I'm having enough trouble getting enough money to pay for a trip in May, along with buying other non-essential items (like video games)

DS rocks, but I'm sellin mine ATM to get a tablet PC.  It was my second one, I'm sure I'll get a 3rd when the next REV rolls around.  Mine was an import so one of the hinges is crackin.  It's for sale 85 bucks...  Hit me up if you want it.

Yeah I'll keep that in mind when I am sure what I want. Sounds like a fair deal, so I'll make sure to keep you in mind.  

I was looking at Ebay, and there are some pretty good deals, but half of em say that "As-Is" when you get it. So you may think it's a deal, but it may not even work.

Here's my experience, trying to get a DS.

I was debating, really hard, about trading in my PSP for a DS.
With my PSP, I had music on a gig card, 3 alright games (Katamari, Valkry Profile, and Guilty Gear) and the ability to go on the net.
I was getting bored, the PSP promised me ps1 emulator, but NO, I had to buy a PS3, I felt betrayed. Those 3 games are the only games I liked on the PSP.

I gave it up, and bought me a DS with Mario Kart....
