Hey there!

Not too long ago Ed (funy_mony) of Media Muffin shared with us the awesomeness of the Screaming Monkey.

Well, I being the alchemical chef I am decided to replicate what I -think- it will taste like.  Here's what I came up with.

SCREAMING MONKEY!!!
Ingredients:
1 Banana
A LOT OF SUGAR
1/2 a mug's worth of coffee
1/4 a mug's worth of watered down coffee
1 package/serving of Hot Chocolate
French Vanilla Coffee Cream (or normal coffee cream if not available)
Whipped cream
Makes: 1 serving

First, put a banana in a blender or food processor and add A LOT OF SUGAR.  Then blend.  When it turns into a thick liquid taste it (when it's off, of course).  It should be a VERY SWEET banana flavor.  If not sweet enough.  Add more sugar and blend.  Now let this sit out for around 30 minutes or until the top part of the banana puree is light brown.  This makes the banana flavor a little stronger.

Using the 1/4 mug's worth of watered down coffee.  Mix in one package (or the amount needed to make 1 cup) of hot chocolate. Mix well. Add 1/2 a mug's worth of coffee and a little bit of cream (as much as you would if you wanted to drink that 1/2 a mug of coffee with cream).

Add banana puree/syrup to taste. Finish it off with some whipped cream.

SENSEO VERSION!

I have the amazing little Senseo coffee machine that gives me a cup of coffee in less then a minute.  This is also how I made it.

Use one Medium flavor Coffee Pod. For the coffee simply do the 1 cup (not two/mug) option.  Then in a seperate cup press the 1 cup button again.  Dump half of this cup out.  Add the hot chocolate powder to this.

This is an easy way to make it since you don't have to do any measuring and you can make a cup for yourself.
