It's really good! INCREDIBLY faithful to the Manga, which is better than the anime really, but just in the inevitable book better than film way, they're both really good.

Really universal appeal too, so many different genres combined really effectively.

I just started reading the manga - it take this stuff a while to get to Germany. I try not do download the anime, because then I will most likely stop buying the manga. Same thing happened with Yakitate!Japan.

I havent seen the anime yet I downloaded the 1st 10 eps but still need to wtch them but I love the manga!

The movie... is just not good enough but i think its good enough, and the end of the first part is just sooooo fucking great. whatever, i love it and i wait everyweek for a new episode of this great anime (i've already read all the manga)

They're not that hard to find... www.deathnote7.com usually has a sub the day after the episode comes out in japan.

This Anime is awesome; just like the manga!


I heard that VIZ will be releasing it for direct download in its original Japanese and will be providing a dubbed version on DVD. Hopefully the Japanese version will make it to DVD too.
