Anything by Tarantino is good in my book. I'm also a sucker for crazy animated films, stuff by the Quays and of course WATS.

I also recently saw Smokin' Aces. That was pretty cool.

Sad robots are cool.

I just quit my job at Hollywood video after working there for 6 months.  I almost fried my brain from watching so many fucking movies.  And I'm kind of a sucker.  I give any movie the benefit of the doubt.

But I really like Pulp Fiction, Sin City, Brick, Little Athens, Hard Candy, The Weather Man, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Night Listenner, and bunch of stuff from the special interest section... all of the Anton Corbijn, Jonathan Glazer, Michel Gondry, and Stephane Sednaoui DVD's.. which aren't movies but their work is amazing.

I doubt the remake of Battle Royale will ever get off the ground..... it would have sooo many problems in the US film industry... plus, it would suck.
