Night of the Living Dead (Old and remake), Dawn of the Dead (old and remake) Day of the Dead, Land of the Dead, Dead ALive, Last man on Earth (sort of), Resident Evil movies (They suck but the games are amazing), Versus, Rave to the Grave, 28 days later series (Not real zombies, but close enough), Shaun of the Dead, Planet Terror, Reanimator, Undead (another bad one), thats all off the top of my head.

ok question what classifys a movie as a zombie flic...... because i always thought it was a movie of a bunch of dead people eating the living...... now see the 28 days/weeks movies i wouldnt consider a zombie movie..... for one big reason.... there not dead and they dont always eat the people they just attack and rip them apart and fling around organs and yes sometimes they do eat the people but thats not there goal in the movies if i rember corectly

another good zombie movie is brain dead or dead alive for the us citizans on here, ...... its got the reputation of being the goriest movie ever made so be warned............ lawn mower meet zombies, zombies ... lawn mower

Also.  The main inspiration for Romero's Night of the Living Dead was more then likely the Vincent Price movie The Last Man on Earth which was actually a vampire movie.  It was based on the ULTRA AWESOME Richard Matheson's story, I am Legend which Will Smith will be Hollywoodizing (and probably fucking up) this Christmas.  That's not a fact.. but it's a pretty good guest.  You'd see why if you ever checked it out.

You are correct partly about Night of the living dead, in the documentary the dead will walk that was included with the dawn of the dead ultimate edition George Romero said that NOTLD's first scrïpt was based and almoast an exact copy of the book i am legend by Richard Matheson and then had about the last two thirds rewrighten before he went into actual production....if i remeber correctly.
