I first became aware of the Brothers Quay and their stop-motion films a few months ago when M dot Strange mentioned them in one of his interviews; I tried to find a video of their work, but found out that the only DVD of their work that was released was out of print (and fetching upwards of $80-100 on bidding sites like eBay).

Thankfully, Zeitgeist Films will be releasing a new DVD set featuring 13 of the Brothers Quay films (along with some really cool features like commentaries by the Brothers, interviews, etc.) on April 24.

Svankmajer's new feature "Sileni" is the best new film I've seen in a long time... I mega recommend it! I think you would like it a lot Tim
