2 sentient beings, 4 WATS posters, one city. Let the strangening BEGIN!  

Fellow Strange-being Gaius and I recently began the process of Spreading the WATS message in our city or "strangening it", if you will. The first part of this progect seemed doomed to disaster as I forgot the tape... But a late-night trip to 7-11 solved that, though the lady working there obviously wasn't used to seeing people come in and buy Slurpees, taquitos and tape at 10:45.

Posters 1&2: There are several copper statues around town represeingint people who had a magor influence in either creating the city or in it's early years. And we decided that they would be perfect messengers for the strange.


This one was a statue of a woman holding a statue of herself. Now, She's a statue of a woman holding a WATS poster.


I'm not sure what the story behind this guy is... But he accepted the poster politely and we thanked him in return.

See that peice of tape holding down the bottom-right corner? His name is Steve.

Anyways, imma be printing these up on normal paper and sticky paper too, so yeah

Today was good, I bought breadsticks for some fundraiser and as the day continued, I wrote random propaganda for "We Are the Strange" on friends and strangers papers, on tests, and a few blackboards. (I think some people didn’t notice that I had taken their paper and wrote a website on it..... but they’ll find it soon enough. XP)

**UPDATE ON THE STRANGENING**

Do to unfortunate events, and by unfortunate I mean we have no clue, as to what happened to the posters that were held graciously by our copper friends.  They have forever disappeared (the posters not the statues).  BUT, the poster that was attached to the Jackpot sign STILL remains up to this date, along with Steve.  As for the poster we had put on the bus, it as well vanished.  Bob_The_Evil_Martian began his investigation onto the disappearance immediatley on the missing bus poster.  And after 20 seconds of investigating, the case was solved.  It turns out that a friend of a friend (seriously) had taken the poster home and went to the MHA site known as wearethestrange.com.  What she saw there changed her life forever.  Her mind was too weak to comprehend the awesomeness of WATS.  

I'm going to start getting some small fliers together...we'll see how it goes.

One thing though, i'm being a huge ass right now though... wouldn't it be "What do this blue haired girl and this small boy have in common?"

Correct me if my correction is incorrect.

I got some girl to watch it and this was her reaction:

"Yeah, I watched it last night and is was really messed up, it scared me but I couldn't stop watching. it was just-"

Me:"Did your head explode?"

"Yeah, it did."

Your Correction is incorrect. But so is the grammar in the Flier.

Technically it should read as: "What does this blue haired female have in common with this doll-like boy?"

But about 95% of the people who will read them will either not know the difference, or won't care.


Anyways, I found out from a friend that there is a local bylaw prohibiting people to put up posters or otehr advertisments around the city wilthout express permission from either the owner of the property or the city itself... So next time we're going to wear some WATS masks and srike in the middle ofthe night. Not sure when, but hopefully soon.
