Yo.  It's time for the notoriously delayed make your own WATS stickers event.

I did research, looked around, and blah blah blah blah.

After thinking of how to do this I finally have the battle plan.

How to get stickers!
1. Go to some office supply store like Office Max or Office Depot.
2. Search for either Laser or Inkjet Printable Labels (as in the ones for envelopes). I suggest getting "Avery Smudge-Free White Inkjet Labels" or the Laser Printer equivalent.  Probably the 2 x 4 inches one since that's the largest.  If that's too expensive for your taste go for the "office supply store" brand ones.  Such as "OfficeMax White Inkjet Shipping Labels".  Your saving 30 dollars.
3. Buy.

How to submit stickers!
1. Design a sticker.  You can do this easily by using something like photoshop and setting up the canvas size to 2 by 4 inches.  Or whatever size the sticker's designed for. With that set up design away.
2. Submit with a image in a post.  Be sure to include the sticker's size as well.  If it's for a 2 by 4 inch label then say so.

How to Print these stickers:
:0 Your going to have to figure this out on your own.  But you guys are smart.  The labels probably will come with instructions or maybe even some software (to download) which will help you.  Hell, you may be able to design the stickers with that software.

What to do with these stickers:
Cover the town with them.  Be sure to include the name We are the strange or preferably the website www.wearethestrange.com on it somewhere so people can link back to it.  Or you can just make your own personal stickers to like...put on your stuff.

To print then, I think youd have to make the background transparent of the image, so the sticker when it print, doesn't put white. Or wait, does a printer even use white ink?

Red+Blue+Green can't make white.

Printers work by combining these three colors to form other colors (the exception being black which has it's own section in the cartridge).

If you print something that's white, it just leaves it blank.

Ok, cool, then it's just print them close to each other unless you want a lot of space to hold. You'll get more with them close. Well thats cowmen sense...

Hate to be a busybody and correct you but printers use cyan, magenta, yellow, and black instead of red, green, and blue. This is   why some printers demand that you send them images in CMYK format instead of RGB :P

most printers offer the selection to print on Envolope labels.. makes the task easier instead of wasting paper to line up the images.

sounds like a plan.  while i was at pizza hut, i saw this girl stickin local band stuff all over 2 phone booths, very careful not to put any over the bt (british telecomm) logo.   so that reminded me.  yea im a first timer/newbie/novice too at this stuff.   i could use the art college and other end of year shows for the sticker ing.

people rushing about everywhere, going nowhere important, so go here http://www.matthiasmedia.com.au/2wtl/   instead
